Golf Carts will be provided to Area Coordinators as requested prior to camp and to volunteers. These carts are to facilitate our work in the camp but not for our exclusive use. Please help transport disabled persons and mothers with children. Golf Carts quantity is limited; therefore, make good use of the number of carts that we have.
Do not leave your cart unattended or with the key. Under no circumstances golf carts must be operated by persons under 18 years. Please do not leave your child in charge of your golf cart. This is not a toy, but a vehicle to be used to ease our work during camp; therefore, those driving the carts should be because they are working and tending to an assigned duty. Do not take a cart that does not belong to you.
If you have a problem with the camp logistics, please contact Chuck Easley or Abigail Mireles THROUGH our radio or cellphone. We will try to find a solution. The head for areas are as follow:
1. All volunteers for Security (shower monitors, traffic control, gates, patrolling, and parking) are under the direction of Orlando Mireles. Orlando will have the following persons working with him on this duty: Charlie Hernandez, Isaias Zamora, and Steve Herrera. There may be others involved, and you will be given those names at camp.
2. Security is provided by those listed on #1 above and Police Officers from the Sheriff’s Office.
3. Charlie will oversee radios.
4. Isaias will oversee golf carts with Charlie to support.
5. Our outdoors facilitator for the conference is Hector Perez. Iris is the person responsible for the rental of tents, showers, and port-a-potties etc.
6. Chuck Easley along with Abigail Mireles will oversee the layout and logistics.
7. Pablo Lopez will work with the distribution of the events and activities layout.
8. The camp nurse is Su Nam. She will work on having someone available 24 hours.
